Gillian Gathercole

Painter.

Artist Statement:

"I would call myself an intuitive artist concerned with exploring the materials used; oil, acrylic, charcoal, pencil, as well as the colour, composition, marks and light. My abstract work has its origins in the land and sea scape."

Gillian is an experienced artist & art teacher. She has completed many commissions and exhibited widely. Her work is held in public and private collections internationally.

Gill graduated in Fine Art from Trent University in 1986. She currently lives and works in Sheffield.
