Robert Battams

Printmaker

Statement:
"My work explores the overlap between figuration and abstraction and questions our relationship to the undefined, ambiguous and dehumanising space that we inhabit, asking what we consider to be real and the conditions that create this. I work in mixed media , utilising painting , print-making, and sculptural techniques to respond to issues surrounding the relationship of technology, art and society and our place within a constructed environment."
