Yuka Jourdain is a Japanese jewellery designer, based in Derbyshire. She works with traditional jewellery techniques as well as enjoys experimenting with new materials she encounters. Material handling and observing the forms that emerge through it are important parts of understanding which way she should move on for visualizing her thoughts. Her design journey starts when things around her start looking more poetic than they are or her usual habits start looking more mysterious than before, which is when she is re-discovering the world around her. She appreciates and supports the diversity in nature and human culture.
