The talks will take place from 2pm onwards. There is no football match at Hillsborough Stadium on the day.

Joanna Whittle

Joanna Whittle is a multidisciplinary artist, and although primarily known for her painting, in this exhibition she will also be exhibiting her "Whittleware" ceramics. Joanna's paintings have been selected for and exhibited in the John Moores Painting Prize, The Royal Academy Summer show and she was recently shortlisted for The Contemporary British Painting Prize. In addition Joanna has been selected to be part of Platform 20 at Site Gallery funded byThe Freelands Artist Programme

Pauline Rignall

Pauline Rignall's early influences were through sitting for Leon Kossoff, who studied under David Bomberg, and the life-drawing classes taught by Sargy Mann at the Camden Institute. Since the early 1980's Pauline has explored the Alexander Technique and its relationship to freedom in the psychophysical act of painting and drawing. This exploration has lead to Pauline's unique style.
